Cory Schlesinger is a highly respected strength and conditioning coach with significant experience in professional sports, including roles with the NBA's Phoenix Suns and Stanford University's athletic programs. Cory’s innovative and evidence-driven approach to training elite athletes ensures he provides actionable, cutting-edge insights into maximizing physical performance, enhancing durability, and fostering athletic longevity. Ryan Fischer is an accomplished coach, entrepreneur, and influential figure in the world of functional fitness. As the founder of CrossFit Chalk in Orange County, California, Ryan has created one of the top CrossFit communities globally. Known for his innovative training programs and engaging educational content, Ryan has trained professional athletes, military personnel, and fitness enthusiasts worldwide. Jake Tuura has been a strength and conditioning coach for the past decade. From 2014-2020, he was a collegiate strength coach working will all sports but primarily basketball. Since then, he has shifted his focus from performance training to tendon rehabilitation. His company, Jacked Athlete LLC, consults with coaches and athletes to help gain muscle, improve vertical jump, and come back from patellar and Achilles tendinopathy.
Dr. Alyssa Olenick holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology, is a certified sports nutritionist, and a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer. Her research has focused on exercise metabolism, sex differences, and menstrual cycle physiology, with postdoctoral work in menopause and metabolism. As a coach, she specializes in endurance, strength, and hybrid training through her online business, Doc Lyss Fitness, and signature programs, The Lyss Method. A strength athlete, ultra-marathon runner, and fitness enthusiast, Alyssa is passionate about making science-based fitness accessible to help people thrive in the gym, on the roads, and on the trails. Friday session is casual dress with no movement required.
Saturday session is casual with movement required. We encourage you to represent your company or organization!
There is an early bird workout option for Saturday morning. If participating, bring a change of clothes.
Registration is 50% refundable up to one month (May 13th) from clinic date, and 25% refundable up to 7 days prior (June 6th). Registration is non-refundable after June 6th.
Upon completion of the conference you will receive a certificate of attendance for 7 hours worth of CEUs to report to your prospective certification.
NSCA : Category A Non-NSCA event .8 CEUs
NASM and ACE : may submit for CEUs under petition for CEUs category for 8 hours worth of continuing education
Welcome dinner is provided Friday evening. Light breakfast items are provided upon conference arrival Saturday morning. Saturday lunch is included on site. Attendees are permitted to enter with food and drink and have during sessions.
The city of Austin is a 20-minute commute from the conference location.
We recommend staying in the Austin city limits or the surrounding area of West Lake for a closer location.
